Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the food stand at the Morgan County Fairgrounds to get the stand ready for the fair.
Penn Township trustees meeting will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at the town hall. Due to the change, the date is because the regular meeting would have been while the fair was going on.
The community extends sympathy to the family of Linda A. Madden. One of her son, Marion Jr., lives in Pennsville. The late Betty Pruitt was Linda's mother and she lived in Pennsville many years ago.
Robert, Sherri and Alex Maxwell and Gary, Malachi and Joshua Sealock were last Monday afternoon visitors at the home of James and Beverly Sealock.
On Saturday, Mary Yerian's family had a reunion at Old Man's Cave. The reason for the occasion was August birthdays. There were 10. 29 family members and everyone had a great time.
On Tuesday, Mae Milhoan and Bev Sidwell went shopping and ate out.
On Wednesday, Bev and Rob Sidwell went to Logan and had lunch with Dorothy Winters.
On Friday, Bev and Rob went to Zanesville to shop and eat out.
On Saturday, they went to Athens to a volleyball game at OU and had supper out.
Mae talked to her sister, Connie Wallace, at the nursing home in Newark. Connie stated she had fallen and broken several bones. She didn't have to have surgery and does have to use a walker. Mae talked to her sister, Joan Chapman of Cincinnati, and she got a new dog, which makes her very happy.
