Constellium, USW extend labor agreement

RAVENSWOOD -- Members of the United Steelworkers local union has agreed to extend its current labor agreement with Constellium Rolled Products until July 22.

According to a message on the union's website, attributed to Jason Miller, president of USW Local 5668, officials said the agreement, which was set to expire at midnight, July 15, has been extended to July 22.

"All employees of Constellium are to report to work on their regular scheduled shifts while contract talks continue," read a statement on the union website.

According to the USW website, union members are encouraged to attend the regular scheduled meeting Tuesday at 6:00 PM where details of the ongoing contracts talks will be discussed.
