Delores Tebay

Delores Carrol Tebay, 69, of Parkersburg, passed away at her home on June 26, 2012.

She was born May 19, 1943, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Dale S. Campbell and Emma M. Badgett Swope. Delores was of the Baptist faith, a 1961 graduate of Parkersburg High School, she had been employed by Union Insulator of Parkersburg and she was a member of Job's Daughters.

Surviving are two daughters, Robin (Michael) Jett of Statesville, N.C. and Dawn Hammer of Denver, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Olivia Pratt, Jeffery and Jason Murphy, Schleena Vargas, Jason and Anthony Hammer and Savannah and Christopher Jett; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Campbell of Parkersburg; two sisters, Carla Buckalew of Rockport and Tashia (William) Rubart of Rockport; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a former son-in-law, Tony Hammer of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Flannery; and her step-mother, Bernice Campbell Wagoner.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg. Rev. Carl Radcliff will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
