Patricia Y. Gorman, 65, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away May 31, 2012, at Carehaven of Pleasants in Belmont, W.Va.
She was born April 17, 1947, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late William Junior and Nelia Norienne Hickman Barnhart. She was a member of the Apostolic Church, was a 1965 graduate of St. Marys High School, and had volunteered at Carehaven of Pleasants. Her hobbies included sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Darrell T. Gorman; a son, Bill Gorman of St. Marys; a sister, Nelia of Parkersburg; brother, Steve Barnhart of Grantsville; aunts and uncles, Mary Lou and Herb Rice of Friendly, W.Va, Frank and Carolyn Powell, Pryse and Nancy Powell, Port and Mary Powell, two nieces, two nephews, one great niece, two great nephews, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held Sunday, at 2 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Terry Lough officiating. Interment will be in the Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery, Ellenboro, W.Va. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
