Mandane E. "Mandie" Johnson, 81, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed away suddenly at her residence on May, 17, 2012.
She was born June 7, 1930, in Shinnston, W.Va., a daughter of the late Roy and Sylvia Lyons.
She worked as an administrative assistant for over 40-plus years for Ray and Audra Fuentes and previously had been employed by Williamstown Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Williamstown, where she was very active and also a member of the Williamstown Woman's Club. She greatly enjoyed traveling with her friends and had a great compassion for cats.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family at First United Methodist Church in Williamstown. A graveside service is planned at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery, also at the convenience of the family. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
Memorial donations may be made to the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Company, Williamstown, W.Va.
