Betty Jane Moore, 77, of Walker, W.Va., Leachtown Community, passed away April 27, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.
She was born April 21, 1935, in Gassaway, Braxton County, a daughter of the late Louie and Thelma (Mahaffey) Brady.
Betty was a homemaker and a beautician. She owned and operated Cedar Grove Hair Center until her retirement. She was a member of Vaught Chapel. The most important thing to Betty was family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
Surviving is her daughter, Denise Little and husband, Butch, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; grandsons, Jason Wiseman of Leachtown and David Wiseman of Almo, Ky.; and great-grandson, Cody Wiseman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Moore in 2006; and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will 10 a.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Jim Eakle officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Braxton County at 1 p.m. Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m.
