DAVISVILLE - The former treasurer of Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department was arraigned Monday for allegedly embezzling more than $50,000 from Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department.
Shaun David Wilson, 33, 100 Mineral Manor Way, Apt. 343, Parkersburg, was arraigned on one count of embezzlement in Wood County Magistrate Court Monday.
Wood County Sheriff's Office arrested Wilson for allegedly embezzling more than $50,000 from the fire department while he served as treasurer, from October 2007 to February 2012. Wilson allegedly used the money for gambling, according to a criminal complaint filed in magistrate court.

Wilson was released on $5,000 bond. If convicted, he could face between one and 10 years in prison, or a $2,500 fine or both.
