ATHENS, Ohio (AP) - Walter Offutt scored 17 points and Nick Kellogg added 14 as Ohio University dominated Central Michigan 68-42 on Saturday for its sixth straight win.
The Bobcats (19-4, 7-2 Mid-American Conference) matched their win total for all of last season.
Kellogg and D.J. Cooper combined to open the game with three straight 3-pointers, putting Ohio up 9-1 early. The Bobcats pushed that lead to 24-14 after a Cooper free throw.

Cooper, who scored all nine of his points in the first half, hit three free throws at the end of the period to give the Bobcats a 33-20 lead at halftime.
Ohio (7-15, 2-7) pulled away in the second half, taking a 56-33 lead after Kellogg knocked down his fourth 3-pointer off the day.
Oliver Mbaigoto led Central Michigan with 14 but the Chippewas shot just 28.8 percent (15 of 52), including 4 of 23 from deep.

ADA, Ohio The Marietta College men's basketball team saw its five-game winning streak get snapped on Saturday at the hands of Ohio Northern, 70-63. The loss drops Marietta's record to 14-7 overall and 10-5 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Ohio Northern improves to 10-11 overall and 6-8 in the OAC.
Senior post Kevin Knab recorded game-highs with 22 points and 12 rebounds on the day. Sophomore guard Tyler Hammond scored 12 points with two assists for the Pioneers. Junior post J.J. Martin added nine points with nine boards in the loss.
Ohio Northern was led by Scott Schnelle with 18 points and five boards. Branden Rushton scored 15 points with a game-high five assists. Jared Horstman chipped in with 11 points and seven boards while Dominique Royal added 10 points in the win.

GREENBURG, Pa. - Chris Giles' 30 points propelled Seton Hill over visiting Glenville State, 74-51, Saturday in a WVIAC men's game.
The Pioneers, now 6-13 overall and 5-10 in the WVIAC, got 10 points from former Parkersburg High standout Andy Dollman, but no one else scored in double figures for GSC.
Seton Hill is now 8-12 overall and 6-10 in the WVIAC.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - Raymont McElroy dropped 48 points on visiting Ohio Valley, with 31 coming after halftime, as host W.Va. Wesleyan rolled to a 93-78 victory here Saturday.
Kelsey Williams and Reggie Chambers each registered a double-double for the Bobcats. Williams netted 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Chambers tallied 16 points and handed out 10 assists.
Austin Cunningham (22), Kendall Allison (20), Jordan Brooks (14) and Rodney Everage (13) all scored in double figures for Ohio Valley.
The Bobcats jumped out to an 8-0 lead as McElroy scored six of the markers. OVU got back in the game with a 14-2 jolt to take a 14-10 lead as Cunningham ignited the run with seven points. However, the hosts pulled back in front with a 12-0 run to take a 29-20 advantage with McElroy notching seven points in the spurt as the Bobcats led 34-25 at halftime.

MORGANTOWN (AP) - Asya Bussie scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead West Virginia to a 66-50 victory against No. 14 Louisville on Saturday.
Linda Stepney added 14 points, Christal Caldwell had 12 and Ayana Dunning 11 for West Virginia (17-6, 7-3).
Shoni Schimmel scored 16 points for Louisville (17-6, 6-4). Antonita Slaughter chipped in 14 off the bench for the Cardinals.
The teams mostly traded baskets in the first half, with Asia Taylor's layup giving Louisville a one-point lead with 6:36 to go.
But long 3-pointers within a minute of each other from Stepney and Taylor Palmer helped West Virginia get some separation and propelled the Mountaineers to a 38-24 halftime lead. The Mountaineers scored 15 straight at one point.

DEKALB, Ill. - Ohio was bested in a defensive battle at Northern Illinois Saturday afternoon, losing by a final score of 50-46.
An improved second half by the Bobcats wasn't quite enough to match impressive second-half shooting by NIU's Kim Davis and Claire Jakubicek, who combined for 24 points in the final 20 minutes of play.
Tenishia Benson led the way for the Bobcats, scoring a game-high 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting. She was joined in double figures by Porsha Harris, who scored 11. Davis and Jakubicek each tied for the most points on NIU, finishing with 16 apiece.
Ohio (10-14, 3-7 Mid-American Conference) shot 30.9 percent from the field throughout the game, connecting on 17 of its 55 attempts including a 2-of-14 mark from distance. The Huskies shot 43.5 percent and held a 41-29 rebounding advantage. Northern Illinois (10-12, 4-6 MAC) also won the points-in-the-paint category, scoring 36 down low to Ohio's 22. The Bobcats forced the Huskies into 18 turnovers while only committing 11 of their own.
Ohio Northern 83,
Marietta College 73
MARIETTA Marietta College fought hard until the final buzzer, but was not able to overcome a tough Ohio Northern squad, falling 83-73 Saturday afternoon inside Ban Johnson Arena.
Marietta slips to 9-12 overall on the year and 4-10 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Ohio Northern improves to 18-3 overall and 12-2 in the OAC.
With the score 40-29 in favor of the Polar Bears at the half, it looked as if Ohio Northern was going to put the game out of reach early in the second half, quickly pushing the lead to 60-40 with 12:52 left in the game.
The margin stayed between 15 and 20 points for the next five minutes before Marietta started to make a final push.
The Pioneers went on 15-4 run down the stretch to cut the Polar Bear lead to 75-70 with 2:06 remaining in regulation. But Ohio Northern regained its footing in the final minutes and held on for the victory.
Seton Hill 97,
Glenville State 73
GREENBURG, Pa. - Tiara Stossel pumped in 29 points Saturday to lead host Seton Hill over Glenville State, 97-73, in WVIAC action.
For GSC, now 14-5 overall and 12-3 in the WVIAC, Ginny Petties tallied 17 points, while Mishae Miles and Tenisha Wilson each netted 13.
But the Pioneers fell victim in an upset to Seton Hill, now only 10-12 overall and 9-7 in the WVIAC, which led 47-33 at the half and thrn put up 50 in the second half to GSC's 40.
W.Va. Wesleyan 80,
Ohio Valley 59
BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - Shelby Way poured in a game-high 28 points for visiting Ohio Valley University here Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't nearly enough as West Virginia Wesleyan posted an 80-59 West Virginia Conference victory.
Lydia Bridenbaugh paced the Bobcats with 17 points while teammate Jamie Kaufman posted a double-double with 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Amber Avery chipped in 10 markers for the Fighting Scots.
