Mary M. Wayne

Mary M. (Buskirk) Wayne, 98, of Parkersburg died April 26, 2008, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Parkersburg.

She was born in Kanawha County, Sept. 1, 1909, a daughter of the late Charles Buskirk and Valley (Thomas) Buskirk. She attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Clayton Wayne and wife, Donna, of Vienna; daughter, Vallie Duke of Spring Hill, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jon Duke, Jimmy Duke, Steve Wayne, Sallie Wright and Stacia Al-Qabandi; six great-grandchildren; and niece, Echo Duncan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; and two brothers.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek, W.Va., with Frank Chapman officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.
