Equipment changes paper’s look
If the News and Sentinel layout looks a little different today, don’t be alarmed, we’re installing new equipment and had to rearrange the newspaper’s format to accommodate our investment in the future. A new machine to insert preprint advertisements into the newspaper is being installed, which should result in a smoother, more efficient delivery of the advertising products. With a little luck ... and a lot of long days and late nights for the installation crew ... we should be back to regular formatting of the Sunday edition for next week. ??? In case you hadn’t noticed, the newspaper has adopted revised guidelines for publishing of engagements, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries in our Sunday Living/Community section. The new guidelines state: “Congratulation on your upcoming wedding, engagement or anniversary, and we hope your special day is as perfect as you have planned. “To help make things a bit easier here are a few items we would like you to consider.
