But the more time she spends with Eli, the more she feels drawn to him - something that not only brings harsh words from his mother, but also a local banker's daugther who has her sights set on Eli. And hardened Pearl may be finding a romance all of her own. Even as Mary recovers and begins a shy relationship with Abe Morgan, the past comes back for her and it will take all of her friends to save her again.

A warm tale of love and life in the Wild West, this book will be a great read for historical romance fans and fans of New York Times bestselling Garlock.
